Photography wasn’t always part of my plan - it just found its way into my life. It all started in my second year of college when I joined Vivre, the photography society. What began as a casual interest quickly became something more. Photowalks, assignments, the thrill of capturing moments -it was all so much fun. But it wasn’t just about clicking pictures; it was about seeing the world differently, noticing details I’d otherwise overlook, and freezing moments that would have otherwise slipped away.
In my final year, I became the president of my university’s photography society- covering college fests, meeting celebrities, and leading photowalks with a bunch of camera nerds. We shot everything, from wild concerts to quiet campus moments, and had an absolute blast. But somewhere between all that action, I found myself drawn to something else—the streets.
Our photowalks took us deep into the wild - into the streets of Delhi. Camera in hand, I wandered through bustling markets and hidden alleys, discovering the real Delhi most never see. But it wasn’t just through my society; I also met insanely talented local photographers, learned from them, and kept clicking outside of my usual circles. Every street had a story, every face a moment waiting to be captured. And just like that, I was hooked. The unfiltered chaos, fleeting glances, and everyday magic most people walk past—that’s where my camera felt most at home.
As life had it, I moved to Pune for university—but that didn’t stop me. I hit the streets again, this time solo, no society, just me and my camera. Met more incredible local photographers, wandered through new alleys, and kept clicking. Every trip, every new city became a playground for my lens.
The photos you see here? They’re from college, university, and every photowalk I’ve taken since. For years, they sat quietly in a cloud folder. But now, they’re finally seeing the light.
